We are currently recruiting for a full-time Security Officer at our Christiana Hospital location. The hours the successful candidate will work either straight days or straight overnights including weekends/holidays as per a two week rotating schedule. The selected Officer will be responsible for patrolling our grounds in order to protect and maintain a safe and secure environment for our staff, patients and others that visit. The Officer will also conduct investigations related to incidents that occur on our property and respond to alarms, security incidents and enforce parking regulations. Requirements: Associates degree or higher – Criminal Justice or related field or equivalent formal Law Enforcement training. One year Law Enforcement or Public Safety experience. (Preferred) An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Current Driver's License Prior Law enforcement experience preferred which will allow applicant to meet State Constable requirements Candidate must maintain certifications in firearms, Taser, CPR accordance with departmental standards.
