Primary Function:
To maintain the Conference Rooms throughout the Christiana Campus, primarily supporting the John H. Ammon Medical Education Center
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain room set ups and facility upkeep.
- Set up and reconfigure rooms as requested in Outlook (tables, chairs, partitions, all set appropriately).
- Report “No Shows” to coordinator daily.
- Print and hang daily Room Signs as needed.
- Identify maintenance needs, i.e., painting, light repair, carpet repair, partition repair, etc. and submits request through maintenance webform. Follows up by notifying coordinator of submitted requests for tracking.
- Contact Coordinator or customer when room set up instruction is unclear or beyond room capacity.
- Remove extra chairs and tables from the rooms; remove carts from the hallway and place in the storage closet.
- Ensure chairs are reviewed for stains and tears and spot cleaned; wipe down tables and counters in rooms.
- Inspect floors for stains to be shampooed out when room is appropriate.
- Empty all trash and recycling cans and maintain cleanliness of cans.
- Vacuum floors in all rooms as well as public areas daily; stock hand sanitizers as needed.
- Remove extra supplies such as easels, flip charts are placed back in the storage room.
- Inspect tables/chairs and lobby furniture for safety. Tighten or replace screws as needed.
- Clean lobby and common areas: clean glass, walls, wash floor, wipe furniture.
- Provide customer support and positively interact with team members, visitors, executives, and staff
- Maintain a helpful, productive attitude throughout the workday.
- Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices with minimal supervision
- Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Hours: 11a-7:30p Monday through Friday - Weekends may be required based on departments needs
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
