We are searching for a leader to manage the transportation and clinical runner activities and personnel of Patient Escort Services. Additionally, the manager will coordinate a variety of administrative and supervisory activities to ensure efficient and effective departmental operations.

Principal duties and responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates the supervisory personnel in order to facilitate departmental operations.
Orients, trains, and evaluates the performance of assigned supervisory personnel.
Investigates employee related problems and performs personnel actions such as selection, merit increases, promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Plans, organizes, and supervises work assignments for supervisors.
Manages all activities regarding utilization of assigned personnel to include work schedules, and payroll.
Controls, monitors, and evaluates operational efficiency of services, and recommends subsequent adjustments.
Monitors regular reports of operating budget expenditures and assists the Manager in preparation of operating and capital budgets.
Facilitates departmental Quality Improvement activities and prepares related reports.
Enforces adherence to departmental standards and procedures to include safety, quality control, and work rules.
Completes statistical reports for management review and works independently on projects as directed.
Orders departmental supplies and ensures efficient operation of equipment.
Assumes supervisory duties of subordinates as circumstances demand.
Conducts departmental meetings, serves on assigned committees, and participates in management programs.
Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices. Reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
Performs other related duties as required
Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Management, or related field.
Two years supervisory experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
