Education and Experience Requirements
- Completion of an ARRT registry in radiologic technology from a two-year accredited program.
- Completion of ARRT registry in MRI within two years of hire.
- State licensure on radiation protection required.
- Formal and/or on-the-job training on cross-sectional anatomy must be completed.
- An Associate's degree is required; candidates are required to obtain an Associates of Science degree within three years of start date or a related field degree.
- Certification in CPR is mandatory.
- Yearly PEEPS certification for proper patient positioning and transfer.
