Job Description and Requirements
We are seeking a Full-Time LPN to support the Newark area, working day shift hours, one weekend a month, and 2 holidays a year.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to geriatric patients in the community.
- Care includes but is not limited to: cardiac care, Foley catheters, pulmonary care, ostomy care, etc.
- Educate patients and their family members on care, disease process, and nutrition.
- Engage in planning for discharge of patients.
Qualifications and Experience
- A current DE LPN license or compact state license is required, along with at least one year of LPN experience. Previous home healthcare and med-surgical experience is preferred.
