ChristianaCare's Cardiology Consultants is looking for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to facilitate prescription refills at our Avenue North location in Wilmington, DE.

Guided by ChristianaCare’s value of Serving Together with Excellence and Love, the Licensed Practical Nurse works in collaboration with physicians and APCs to deliver exceptional care by performing prescription refills and providing patient education for specialty medications.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00am -4:30pm

- Triage incoming telephone, electronic, or faxed communication regarding prescription refill requests
- Accurately process prescription refill requests as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with various staff on specialty medication initiatives for the practice
- Communicate patient needs/requests to appropriate staff member (MD, APC, RN triage) and communicate treatment changes to patient
- Provide patient education for PCSK9 injectable medications
- Demonstrate compliance with CCHS and departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain mandatory education and licensure requirements
- Travel to additional office locations as needed
- High school graduate or equivalent graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required
- At least 3 years of physician practice or clinical experience preferred
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- Current LPN state licensure in DE
- BLS certification
