Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As an RN on our Ortho/Neuro/Trauma unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, leveraging your expertise to deliver high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, developing individualized care plans that address their physical and emotional requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and communication among healthcare providers.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Registered Nursing license.
- An Associates Degree in Nursing, with a commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire.
- At least one year of relevant experience, preferably in an orthopedic or neurotrauma setting.
- BLS certification, with ACLS preferred.

Working Conditions
This is a part-time (.5 FTE) position, with a day/midnight rotation of 8- and 12-hour shifts for 40 hours per pay period. Weekends and holidays are expected, per department requirement.
