The Union Hospital Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Casual Parl-Time Rad Tech to work the day/evening shift. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate Radiographic Equipment: Develop and identify radiographs, including proper identification of film, date, and time.
- Clerical Duties: Perform receptionist and scheduling duties, complete forms on clinical records, and handle various filing tasks.
- Cover Emergency Situations: Assist with imaging procedures in the Emergency Department (ED), OR, Surgi center, Portables, and Fluoro.
- Train Radiology Technologists: Mentor students in radiology technology programs.
- Maintain Equipment: Use and perform quality control checks on PACS, Computed Radiography, and Digital Radiography Systems.
- Operate Specialized Equipment: Utilize Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm equipment as needed.
Requirements:
- Radiology Science Degree: Associates degree in Radiology Science.
- RT Technologist Experience: Previous experience as an RT Technologist preferred.
- ARRT Registration: Must be ARRT Registered Technologist.
- Licenses and Certifications: Maryland license and CPR certification required.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing hours and duties.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on location and experience.
