Job Summary
This full-time position involves assessing and treating adults with communication and swallowing disorders in inpatient acute and rehabilitation settings. We prioritize patient-family centered care and work collaboratively within a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify areas of improvement
- Develop and implement personalized treatment programs, incorporating family-specific goals and time frames
- Provide education and training to patients and their families
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification
- CPR Certification
- Acute care experience preferred
- Strong candidates will be considered for further development
