This role offers the chance to work with our experienced team at the Healthcare Center at ChristianaCare Rehabilitation Services Site in Newark, Delaware (2 days per week), and the Springside Rehabilitation Services Site in Glasgow, Delaware (3 days per week).
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to assess their communication needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment programs that incorporate family-specific goals and time frames.
- Provide education and training to patients and their families to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care to ensure continuity of treatment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware to practice as a speech-language pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- CPR Certification to ensure prompt response in emergency situations.
