Church Web Product Editor
Christianbook is looking for a Church Web Product Editor to join the Internet Marketing team. This position will focus primarily on Children’s Ministry and report to the Web Marketing Manager while also working directly with the Church Supplies & Ministry Senior Product Editor.
This is a part-time, non-management, salaried position located at the Peabody, MA office. This position is 25 – 30 hours per week. The work schedule will be from Monday through Friday, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. This is subject to change if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write copy for church supplies and ministry product lines with a focus on Children’s Ministry, Sunday School, and VBS.
- Create and update pages relevant to Children’s Ministry, including quarterly for Sunday School themes and annually for all VBS themes.
- Work to ensure updated new skus have updated images, sample pages, free printables, videos, and music clips for all programs.
- Analyze reports to ensure new and updated products are appropriately displayed on our website.
- Research competitors and compare how they market these categories.
- Create 18-20 emails annually promoting Children’s Ministry, Sunday School, and VBS.
- Create content for lead generation and other free downloads, maintain Annual VBS Comparison Chart, and other similar Children’s Ministry resources.
- Coordinate with social media team to promote new products and content for lead generation.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Must possess excellent writing skills.
- Knowledge of Children’s Ministry Products desirable.
- Analytical and creative skills with passion for or desire to learn marketing trends and innovation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- PC skills including Microsoft Office, internal mainframe, effective Googling, Dropbox, Google sheets/docs, etc.
- Team player with ability to make independent decisions as needed.
