Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This position will be part of corporate operations in support of five pharmacies and one medical supply store in the New River Valley.
The Office Manager will play a vital role in the oversight of the day-to-day operations of our corporate office, ensuring office systems run smoothly and helping to maintain office efficiency.
The Office Manager will oversee daily corporate office operations, manage administrative and financial tasks as it relates to accounts payable/receivable and corporate A/R accounts, provide complex administrative support to all pharmacy and medical supply locations, oversee daily mail process and distribute accordingly, monitor office supplies and complete central supply orders and support smooth functioning of the corporate office.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, or GED equivalent supplemented by 2-3 years of experience that includes employment as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager/Office Administrator and/or an accounting role; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provided the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position.
- General knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Valid, Virginia driver’s license with the ability to travel to all of our store locations within the New River Valley.
- Proficiency with common office software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable and flexible in approach and work style to changing demands, circumstances and a fast-paced work environment.
- Proactive with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while prioritizing work with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to maintain professional and courteous relationships with internal and external customers, vendors and staff.
- Positive attitude, outstanding work ethic and commitment to integrity.
This is a full-time position with an expected starting pay rate of $18.00/hour. The anticipated work schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8a-4p, or 9a-5p.
