Christie Adam is a full-service salon and spa established in 1999 in Great Falls, Virginia. It soon became one of the premier hair salons and spas in Northern Virginia. Over the years, we have continued to grow and are always on the cutting edge of new trends in the industry.

Christie-Adam Salon & Spa is currently looking to fill one spot for a Manager. The responsibilities include the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding salon and spa services and products, booking appointments, checking the guest into the computer system and charging for services performed, having a positive attitude, ability to handle situations that may occur, have good communication skills.

Full time position.

Position Requirements:

* Must be detail-oriented and have ability to multi-task.

* Ability to be efficient and productive in a luxury, fast-paced environment.

* Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.

* Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.

* Excellent communication, listening and computer skills.

* Must be a team player. *

*Must* have weekend availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Be on time for shift and maintain consistent, regular attendance record

* Properly open and close salon and spa each day according to Standard Operating Procedures.

* Accurately book, change and cancel spa appointments.

* Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the salon and spa.

* Ensure that the check-in, check-out and payment process is handled properly.

* Provide callers and guests with detailed descriptions of salon and spa treatments, packages, services, and hours of operation.

* Utilize computers with skill and proficiency; document guest information in electronic record as directed.

* Familiarity with Phorest booking software is a plus.

* Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the phone conversation; operate phone system accurately and efficiently.

* Handle guests’ questions and concerns promptly, professionally and courteously.

* Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized work area.

* Must be able to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.

* Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

* Assist in all areas of salon and spa operation.

* Be attentive to any and all occurrences involving staff or guests.

* Frequent communication with brand representatives and be able to order efficiently and keep stock of needed product

Experience Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Front Desk personnel or as Customer Service representative with proven sales

OR

* Minimum of 1 year of employment within a Hotel environment or Salon and/or Spa.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
