What are the responsibilities and job description for the EKG Technician/Phlebotomist - Medical Hills - Bloomington - PRN (As Needed) position at Christie Clinic, PLLC?
Christie Clinic's department of Laboratory is seeking a PRN(as needed) EKG Technician/Phlebotomist at the Medical Hills clinic in Bloomington between the hours of Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm.
Duties include the collection of blood and performance of EKG's, as needed, and receptionist duties.
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all the duties assigned.)
- Perform venipuncture, for all age groups
- Perform EKGs
- Perform Lab safety audits
- Inventory Management of general lab supplies
- Maintain lab records and files
- Perform related work as required.
- Train new personnel, if needed
- Potential for travel to other lab locations. Mileage will be reimbursed after employee submits to supervisor.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting up to 35 pounds. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a laboratory setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases and electric hazards. Requirements may include working irregular hours.
PAY AND BENEFITS:
The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. We also offer vacation pay as well as a 401k plan.
