Christie Clinic's department of ENT is seeking a PRN (as needed) Scribe between the hours of Monday-Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm at the Fields.
Duties include performance of skills through the delivery of patient care using a systematic patient assessment. Accompanying the physician during the office visit to record complete documentation of each patient’s history, review of systems, the physical examination, assessment, and plan performed by the physician.
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all the duties assigned.)
Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting to 75 pounds. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required.
Typical Working Conditions
Work is performed in a clinical setting with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, hazardous waste, bodily fluids, and other waste common to a health care environment. Requirements may include working irregular hours.
Pay And Benefits
The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. We also offer vacation pay as well as a 401k plan.

- Accompany the physician into examination rooms for all patient visits. As the physician interviews the patient, listen, and enter the information into the electronic health record.
- Enter requests for laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications into the electronic health record.
- Document any procedures performed by the physician in the electronic health record.
- Enter any consultations or discussions with family and/or patient’s primary physician.
- Complete any pre-charting work as assigned by physician.
- Review patient documentation.
- Perform related work as required.
