Director of Sales, Gateway & Compositor Solutions for Postproduction, VFX, and Virtual Production
About the Opportunity :
Christie Digital Systems, a leader in advanced display and video processing technology, is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive to spearhead the sales efforts for our new line of gateway and compositor products. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing key accounts within the Postproduction, VFX, and Virtual Production markets. The role requires an in-depth understanding of high-end digital workflows, network streaming, and the competitive landscape, paired with strong client management capabilities.
Responsibilities :
- Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with executive leadership to design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at positioning Christie Digital Systems as a market leader in gateway and compositor technology for professional studios.
- Lead Generation & Account Management : Identify, target, and build relationships with key decision-makers at postproduction houses, VFX studios, and virtual production companies. Maintain and expand a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Product Demonstrations & Consultations : Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations tailored to the technical and creative needs of potential clients, showcasing how Christie’s solutions, including network streaming of uncompressed video, audio, and metadata, can enhance their production workflows.
- Customer Needs Assessment : Engage with clients to understand their current challenges and requirements, providing consultative recommendations that align with their business objectives.
- Proposal Development & Negotiations : Draft detailed sales proposals, manage contract negotiations, and close deals that meet both client needs and company revenue targets.
- Collaboration with Technical Teams : Work closely with product development and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on the latest product features, improvements, and roadmap developments to communicate effectively with clients.
- Industry Engagement : Represent Christie Digital Systems at key industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and identify opportunities for growth.
- Reporting & Forecasting : Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and competitive intelligence to senior leadership. Accurately forecast sales and provide insights into market positioning and product performance.
