Sr Accountant

We have more than 100,000 display solutions installed worldwide.  Maintains integrity of accounting information and systems, in accordance with standards and rules under GAAP, as well as other regulating bodies. Reconciles, analyzes, and synthesizes financial data from business operations.  Plays an active role in preparation of public financial statements and other regulatory reports.  May evaluate the effects of changes in accounting regulations on Company's financial statements and accounting controls. Executes accounting policy and procedures and participates in internal and external audits.  This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.   Responsibilities:  •    Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements•    Managing the month-end and year-end close process•    Perform monthly review of financials to assess accuracy/completeness and variance analysis•    Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles•    Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations of asset and liability accounts•    Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls•    Directing the activities of staff in the accounting department and ensuring they have the necessary resources and skills to efficiently perform their roles•    Assist with audit requests as needed•    Responsible for timely and accurate ad-hoc reports as needed  What we are offering:  A competitive salary, vacation, health & dental benefits, and employer-matched 401 K pension plan. You will have opportunities to gain experience, grow and collaborate with professionals on a global reach. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior role.•    Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. What Will Put You Ahead:  •    High proficiency in using Oracle system.•    Strong understanding and experience with GAAP regulations.•    Proven experience with financial reporting, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.•    Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of cost accounting principles.•    Ability to direct and supervise accounting staff.•    Solid experience with MS Office and financial management software.•    Strong attention to detail and confidentiality. Salary : $67,190 - $90,707
