What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier - PRN(As Needed) - Float position at Christie Management Company, Inc?
Christie Clinic's department of Couriers is seeking a PRN(as needed) Courier between the hours of Monday-Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm. This position will travel/float to various locations, as needed.
Duties include the pick up and delivery of materials from one department(s) to another in order to assist staff.
Individual must have excellent customer service skills, good driving record, valid Illinois drivers license, and must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
JOB DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
- Deliver clinic material and pick up supplies.
- Mail and distribute supplies to appropriate destinations.
- Run various errands for the clinic as requested.
- Assist with opening, dating, and distributing incoming mail.
- Perform related work as required.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Demands include walking, sitting while driving, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of a motor vehicle is required.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed both in the office and driving in the community. Contact with staff and the public is common. Requirements may include working irregular hours.
PAY AND BENEFITS:
The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related criteria. We also offer vacation pay as well as a 401k plan.
