Summary:Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager the Cytotechnologist is responsible for the microscopic examination for cytologic diagnosis of GYN and NON-GYN samples. The Cytotechnologist performs procedures using established and approved protocols requiring the use of good clinical judgment. The cytotechnologist is also responsible in maintaining equipment and records, perform quality assurance activities ensuring test performance, in consultation with the Medical Director. Must meet per diem requirements set by business.
Education: Bachelor's Degree by an accredited school of cytotechnology or equivalent education.
Licensure: None
Experience: 3 years’ experience in cytotechnology laboratory within the last 10 years is preferred
