What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Inspector position at Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd.?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the onsite project representative
- Inspection duties
- Perform construction contract administration
- Develop probable construction cost estimates
Key Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in engineering/construction or progressive experience in construction
- IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities Certification preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and oral)
- Working knowledge and experience with state and local regulations
- Knowledge and experience with MicroStation and Microsoft Office
