Special Education Teacher - Grades K thru 8
We are currently searching for a full-time Special Education Teacher - Grades K through 8 to work with CCCS students during the 2024-2025 school year. This is a 10-month position; work hours are from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM.
Qualifications for the position include :
- PDE Special Education Teaching Certificate required
- A bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution required
- Previous experience teaching in a K-8 setting is highly desired
- A flexible personality that demonstrates enthusiasm, celebrates success, and responds positively to adversity
- An interpersonal skillset that fosters positive communication with students, staff, administration, and parents
- A strong work ethic and an excellent attendance record
HOW TO APPLY

1- Copy of your PA State Police Criminal Record Clearance (Act 34)
2 - Copy of your DPW Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
3 - Copy of your FBI Clearance Fingerprinting with the UEID # (Act 114)
4 - Completion of a Sexual Misconduct / Abuse Disclosure Release (Act 168)

7 - Three letters of professional reference
8 - Completion of a PA School Health Record

10 - Completion of Professional Ethics Training
