What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deli Counter Associate position at Christopher's Deli & Catering?
We are looking for Personable, Friendly, Energetic and Attentive People to serve our Customers and provide services behind the Deli and Hot Entree Counter by Making Sandwiches, Serving Hot Entrees and creating that "Special" experience our current and new Customers expect.
Responsibilities :
- Warmly Greet Customers with a Smile and Assist in their Selections.
- Have a positive attitude with friendly Customer Service Skills.
- Take food / drink orders (at the counter, by phone and tablet for GrubHub and DoorDash).
- Prepare Handcrafted Sandwiches Sliced to Order (Requires use of Deli Meat Slicer).
- Weigh Deli items for Customer orders (Requires use of Deli Meat Slicers).
- Serve Hot Entrees.
- Assist in Preparation of Deli Trays for Catering.
- Use Scales and Volume measures to portion product correctly.
- Adhere to all applicable Health Department and Safety Rules / Regulations.
- Process All Transactions through Toast POS System.
- Inventory stock and restock product to storage.
- Maintain a clean and healthy food handling service areas and customer seating areas.
- Inform customers about our Specials and promote sales within the store and be a fine Representative of the Christopher’s Deli and Catering Family to our loyal Customers.
