Summary:
Answers all incoming calls, these will be transfers or 911 calls. Gets information from callers to be able to dispatch ambulance while keeping callers' calm. May need to give pre-arrival medical instructions. Dispatches ambulances.
Responsibilities:
- Answers phone calls
- Gives pre-arrival medical instructions
- Talking on phone while typing
- Staying calm in a high stress environment
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Good typing skills
- Good communication skills
