What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook - Cafeteria position at CHRISTUS Health System?
Summary:
The Cook is responsible for preparation of meals. In absence of Assistant Chef, the Cook will perform the duties of the Assistant Chef.
Responsibilities:

- Conservative, appropriate dress, and good personal hygiene

- Maintains privacy and confidentiality - Respects others' rights, shares only what others need to know and in only appropriate places, not in public areas or near others without a need to know

Requirements:
Education/Skills
- High School Diploma preferred
Experience
- Performs related responsibilities as assigned.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- Current BLS required
- Food Handler certification from an ANSI-accredited organization. (Must have within 30 days of employment).
