  • ARDMS or ARRT / Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year

Job Details

  • The Registered Ultrasound technologist will apply medical ultrasound to the patient in accordance with a doctor's order.
  • Works within the scope of practice as defined by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and American Society Radiologic Technologists.
  • Handles the movement, set-up and operation of medical ultrasound equipment.
  • Provides patient assessment information to the Radiologist as needed.
  • Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities.

    • Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-year scanning experience in Abdomen, OB / GYN, Vascular and Breast Ultrasound preferred.
  • ARDMS or ARRT / Sonography certification in Abdomen required within one year.
  • BLS required.

    • Schedule Information

  • Day shift including weekends but shift could vary.
  • Shift is 7a-7p or 9a-9p but could vary.

  • Shift could vary and includes weekends.
