Certification Details BLS ACLS ARRT New Mexico State licensure Job Details Job Title : Cath Lab Tech / Certified Department : Cath Lab Position Summary : Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist / Cardiologist. Job Requirements Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program. Experience : One year radiologic experience required and one year interventional or cath lab experience preferred. Skills : Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurological and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills. Schedule Information Shift : 7am-1730, 4 / 10hr shifts Additional Details Environment : Bloodborne pathogen - C. Exposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation. Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Subject to stressful professional relationships. Working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies. Physical Requirements : Lifts, positions, pushes and / or transfers patients and equipment in excess of 50 lbs.
