Job Summary:
The 2nd shift Associate Blending Operator creates batches of materials by weighing and mixing dyes, pigments, and chemical additives for use in various plastic materials. They carefully follow safety and cleaning protocols, ensuring that products are made accurately according to specifications, avoiding waste of time and resources. This is an entry-level position that performs duties with some oversight, direction, and assistance, particularly when situations depart from the norm.

- Skills: Ability to read and understand printed safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; communicate with team members and supervisors
- Tech Savvy: Basic Computer Skills
- Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute weight, volume, ratios, percentage, and unit conversion.
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Communication: Ability to write basic, routine reports and correspondence
