Your Role
As the Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher, you will be the heart of your classroom—guiding, inspiring, and supporting children during a key stage of growth. You’ll also collaborate with a co-teacher and work closely with families to create a consistent, nurturing learning environment.
Duties
Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for two-year-olds
Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
Track and document developmental milestones and communicate progress to families
Maintain regular communication with parents through daily updates and conferences
Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides
Collaborate with fellow staff and participate in school-wide events and trainings
Ensure licensing, health, and safety standards are consistently met
Requirements
CDA, TTC, Paraprofessional Certificate, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or willingness to obtain)
Strong knowledge of child development and positive discipline practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
A genuine love for children and a joyful, patient spirit
Pass a National Criminal Background Check
Highschool Diploma or GED
