We are looking for an experienced Engineer Technician to join our technical team.
What You'll Do:
Support the engineering team with technical solutions for aerospace and industrial gas turbine components
Optimize production processes using lean methodology to improve efficiency and quality
Develop and track KPIs to measure process and product outcomes
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop repair processes that meet Chromalloy and customer requirements
Execute technical projects that positively impact site operational and financial performance
Design, develop, and implement tooling/equipment improvements for repair operations
Troubleshoot process/production problems and implement effective solutions
Prepare accurate technical documentation including reports, specifications, and procedures
Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff and operators
Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization
What You Bring:
1-2 years' experience in aerospace or industrial gas turbine engine technical role
Previous experience on a technical team involved in product development and production support
Proven ability to solve moderate-level technical and production issues
Experience with process design, best practices, and technology implementation
Ability to interface effectively with technical team members and other organizational functions
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
Proficiency in CAD software (NX preferred)
Experience with CNC programming and/or robotics
Familiarity with various measurement techniques including CMM and laser scanning
Knowledge of aerospace quality systems and documentation management

Requirements:
Technical associate's degree OR High school diploma/GED with equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of gas turbine design and manufacturing methodologies
Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite
Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a production environment
Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
