EHS Intern Essential Functions/Duties
Assist with noise dosimetry, hearing testing scheduling, fire extinguisher inspections, eye was inspections, AED inspections, and entering data for hazard identifications
Learn and understand Brady LOTO Software, objectives, process, and verification of the individual templates to update and maintain OSHA compliance
Work closely with EHS, Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability Engineers to review, update and verify individual templates
Coordination of the verification process with subject matter experts for developed templates
Create QR codes to be posted on the equipment that link to individual templates
Required Experience/Skills
Pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or relatable field with interest in EHS
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to stand and/or walk up to 4 hours per day
Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 35 pounds
Internship details – This internship is for 8 weeks. You can have up to 24 hours per week, 4 days per week.
