The Role :
Our Customer Service Specialist will oversee all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring the flow of raw materials and final products from suppliers to retailers and customers. Performs and participates in the efficient handling of customer orders, shipping and logistics, and associated administrative functions related to processing orders.
Responsibilities :
Coordinates credit on orders. Participate in resolution of credit problems and invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain sales records, provide appropriate information for finance.
- Communicate with carrier operations, handle freight parties, ensure that the shipper and consignee are aware of any challenges or issues that may occur.
- Prepare documentation for foreign shipments.
- May be required to cross train and demonstrate competency in all essential job functions of the department working at different workstations as production needs require.
- Requirements :
At least 3 years of customer service or related experience required; GED or High School Diploma is preferred.
