Account Executive - Device Sales
We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customers, driving device and buyback sales while contributing to our growth targets. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will leverage your exceptional communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills to thrive in this inside sales position. Key Responsibilities:
As an Account Executive, you will:
- Customer Growth and Maintenance: Cultivate and maintain device, accessory, and buyback sales with existing customers, ensuring their continued satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prospecting: Identify and approach potential customers with new offerings, expanding our reach and market presence.
- Promotion and Marketing: Work with Marketing to develop sales promotions and marketing materials to attract and engage customers.
- Collaboration: Work alongside other teams to offer services such as asset tagging, white glove, and to identify opportunities for device // accessory sales.
- Channel and Inventory Guidance: Build and maintain relationships with device dealers, distribution, and ADP/insurance companies while also working closely with our purchasing team to manage device inventory.
- Customer Support and Issue Resolution: Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to device functionality, warranties, and repairs, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Educational and Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance on products and services, promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Data and Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine sales strategies and improve product offerings.
Key Skills:

- CRM Proficiency: Skilled in Salesforce, Netsuite or an equivalent CRM system for managing customer data and interactions.
- Customer Relationship Management: Exceptional skills in establishing, nurturing, and maintaining strong customer relationships to boost retention and loyalty.
- Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution: Proven ability to resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to track, analyze, and leverage sales data and customer feedback to drive strategic decisions and uncover growth opportunities.
- Team Collaboration and Adaptability: A flexible approach to learning and adapting to support customer success.
- Communication: Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills to promote products and services effectively.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:
- 2 years of experience in device sales or customer-facing sales in the ed-tech market.
- Demonstrated persistence and a knack for effectively selling both yourself and products to customers.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Prior sales experience with supporting statistics.
- Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and teamwork skills.
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
- Previous experience with startup companies and proficiency in email, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Punctuality and ability to travel when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
Salary: $105,000 - $155,000 with OTE between $165,000 - $250,000
Additional, performance based bonus available.
