Required Skills and Responsibilities
- A minimum of 1 year of avionics/ bench technician experience is required!
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- J-STD-001 Solder Certification a plus, not required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word and Excel).
- Working knowledge of basic shop tools and ESD requirements.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be able to pass a DOT drug and alcohol test.
Job Description
- Full-time on-site position.
- Work under general direction.
- Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems by removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace components to correct failures or implement design changes.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems to isolate electrical faults and repair components.
- Manufacture / assemble aerospace components and perform acceptance test procedures.
- Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components to confirm flightworthiness requirements.
- Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, modifications, inspection, and test results).
