Job Title: ULD Repair Technician
Responsibilities:
The ULD Technician is responsible for maintenance and repairs to Unit Load Devices
- Performs maintenance and repairs to aircraft Unit Load Devices (ULD) per all applicable guidelines and requirements. Understands repair procedures as outlined in the repair manuals and performs all repairs per the guidelines. Able to meet minimum productivity goals consistently.
- Ensures FAA, TSA, airport, and various airline regulations and policies are followed.
- Adheres to and enforces all safety and security guidelines.
- Prioritizes tasks.
- Works well with others and maintains composure during busy season.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently under time constraints.
- Solid and blind rivet installation and removal
- Cutting and grinding aluminum and lexan
- Component removal and replacement
- Use of basic hand & power tools
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
- A valid clear driver's license
