Our client, an industry leader in the commercial electrical industry for over 20 years, is looking for an experienced Superintendent. They have designed, built, installed, and maintained their clients’ systems, projects, and facilities with a wide range of service offerings. They focus on safety, value, and quality as well as building and maintaining lasting relationships with a variety of national clients in renewables, data centers, oil and gas, food and beverage, manufacturing, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields. Must be well organized, energetic, detail-oriented and a team player, able to handle a fast-paced job with deadlines. Full time position with benefits.
Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of the job crew.
- Discipline, counsel and train employees as needed, as well as motivate employees on a regular basis.
- Assign, reward, or promote employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Transfer, suspend, lay off, discipline, or discharge employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Be familiarity with plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope.
- Attend meetings as required and provide necessary information.
- Monitor and document the progress of the job.
- Provide a Lead person with current and accurate information by generating RFI’s, memos, and other forms of communication.
- Monitor, direct, and improve as necessary the quantity of work performed by the crew.
- Communicate company policies and procedures to the job crew.
- Apply knowledge of National Electrical Codes as needed.
- Order materials as needed.
- Monitor and manage tools.
- Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday.
- Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by the company and all regulatory agencies.
- Monitor, track and approve employee work time.
