Join the exclusive team of Department of Juvenile Justice providers! There are only 16 DJJ Teams in the state of Florida providing services to youth and families throughout the state.
As a clinician at Chrysalis Health with DJJ you will have the opportunity to provide individual and family therapy to a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. The Masters level Registered Intern practitioner provides mental health assessments, therapeutic services, crisis intervention, and / or any other identified clinical services deemed necessary to stabilize and improve the functioning of individuals served. They will function as clinical members of theDJJ Team. The DJJ Team supports clients ages up to 21 receiving treatment for co-occurring disorders.
Therapy sessions will be conducted in-person, we also offer telehealth options to provide flexibility and convenience for our clients. As a DJJ clincian you have the opportuntiy to fully support your small client base, approximately 12 clients based on need.
The DJJ Teams strive to help children and young adults with behavioral health concerns to recover at home safely. These teams also assist families in building and maintaining a support system within their community. the modality is a safe and effective alternative to out-of-home treatment or residential care for children with serious behavioral health conditions.
