EVENING TREATMENT SPECIALIST
POSITION DESCRIPTION
- Train residents in basic living skills related to personal hygiene, laundry, housekeeping, money management, shopping, healthy lifestyle, medication management, and behavior education as outlined in Chapter 105 of the Medicaid Rehab Manual
- Assists residents in housekeeping tasks of cleaning, sweeping, and mopping kitchen, living room, and hallways and various other assigned responsibilities and provides feedback to residents regarding their responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining all assigned building(s) and vehicles(s) clean, safe, functional, and secure in accordance with prescribed codes and established policies and standards
- Performs bedroom and bathroom checks; determines if residents have performed daily responsibilities appropriately
- Implements behavior management procedures, individual treatment plans, behavioral intervention plans, and residential treatment interventions as recommended by Management Team
- Ensures all residents receive their medications, charts medication and completes required paperwork
- Assists and supervises residents as they complete evening responsibilities
- Ensures all residents are in their rooms at bedtime with lights out at the appropriate time
- Maintains a record of critical incidences or issues for any resident having difficulty in the PM hours and completes the shift report
- Ensures residents are up at scheduled times each AM and following the morning routine
- Transports residents to school as needed
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Training and/or experience in child development issues
- Documented physical health adequate to participate in activities with youth and
- Minimum age of 21
SALARY RANGE: Dependent upon experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Education:
- Associate (Required)
Experience:
- Conflict management: 1 year (Preferred)
- working with teenagers: 1 year (Preferred)
