Overview
We are seeking qualified and licensed mental health providers with a passion for helping youth struggling with substance use. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Wyoming's youth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans upon admission and throughout their treatment.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to clients
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as behavioral therapy and mental health counseling
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and monitor client progress
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments to the treatment plan as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in a timely manner
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of therapy
*Requirements*
- Valid Wyoming State license or certification that allows you to provide clinical services (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Addictions Professional, Licensed Addictions Therapist, etc.)
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques, including CBT and DBT
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and treatment plans
- Experience working with adolescent populations is preferred
