Job Summary
Our caring MRI Techs, operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to obtain filmed images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. You will position patients of all age groups for procedures, assist in sedations and prepare non magnetic contrast media, operate scanner to visualize pathologies. Select appropriate scanning parameters to optimize images obtained and recorded.
Job Requirements
Requires knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as acquired through completion of an approved school of radiologic technology.
Approximately two years or more of radiology related experience preferred to gain familiarity with MRI procedures, techniques and methods as well as hospital policies and procedures.
Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or ARRT.
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
Must pass MRI sub specialty boards within 24 months of hire.
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 1pm-10:30pm
Thursday: 12pm-10:30pm
Saturday, Sunday: 7am-7:30pm
