Provides quality respiratory care to patients from the neonate to the adult and families in accordance with established policies and procedures under the direction and supervision of a RN or Respiratory Care Practitioner. Allays fears and explains procedures and treatments to patient in an age appropriate manner. Demonstrates competency and functions utilizing appropriate judgment in all patient settings. Performs miscellaneous delegated tasks as necessary. Currently enrollment in the second year of a CoARC approved program in Respiratory Therapy. Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required within 30 days of hire.Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
