Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate ABA Services Coordinator to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in coordinating ABA services for children with Autism and other behavioral health needs by working closely with families, Behavior Consultants, and insurance providers. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a background in behavioral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families, guiding them through intake, assessment, authorization, and service coordination processes.
- Coordinate and schedule Behavior Consultants to complete assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Verify insurance coverage, manage authorizations and re-authorizations, and ensure compliance with insurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including intake and discharge paperwork, progress notes, and authorization records.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold client confidentiality at all times.
- Work collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and staff to ensure the highest quality of care and service delivery.
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts, insurance issues, and other barriers to service implementation.
- Stay updated on behavioral health policies, insurance changes, and best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
- Assist in training and supporting staff to ensure seamless service coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience:
- A background in behavioral health is required; prior experience in ABA services, case coordination, or insurance authorization is strongly preferred.
Clearances:
- Candidates must obtain and maintain PA State Police Clearance, FBI Fingerprint Clearance, and Child Abuse Clearance.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in navigating insurance processes and verifying coverage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and documentation standards.
