Compass Health Systems is seeking Licensed Behavior Specialists (LBS's) to make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families by providing Intensive Behavioral Health Services/ Applied Behavior Analytic services behavioral needs across the home, school and community settings. The LBS/BSC will have the ability to build a caseload and create their own schedule.
This is a W2 employee (not independent contractor) position.
Job Responsibilities include:
- supervision of Behavioral Health Technicians, bachelors level therapists or other professionals
- writing and modifying intensive treatment plan, behavior intervention plan, IFSP
- collecting data regarding behaviors of child/student and supervising lower level clinician on how to do so
- working one-on-one with a child with educational/behavioral needs/delays
- scheduling appointments with parents
- implementing individual service plan or behavior intervention plan
- writing timely and clinically appropriate session notes
- ability to collaborate effectively with child's team (parents/teacher/caseworker/etc.)
- completion of pre-service training and ongoing yearly training as required
Requirements include:
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in school, clinical, developmental or counseling psychology, special education, social work, professional counseling, applied behavior analysis, nursing or other area related to behavioral health AND/OR Post Masters certification in BCBA coursework
- Active PA Behavior Specialist license (for BSC position)
- Back ground checks required but reimbursed upon beginning employment.
Preferred:
- Previous experience providing behavioral health/intensive behavioral health services to children and/or adults in a clinical setting.
