Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and developing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to implement effective strategies that enhance the quality of life for clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies in various settings, including home and school environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive support for clients.
- Provide training and supervision to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques and interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and special education.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation related to behavioral health.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly children.
- Strong understanding of patient assessment techniques and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance in handling medical records.
