What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Learning Coach position at CHS Hershey Center?
The Youth Learning Coach will be responsible for supporting the implementation of classroom lesson plans, participating in coaching cycles, and engaging with children to promote their development and learning. This individual will work closely with the Lead Teacher and Associate Teacher to create a safe and nurturing environment that fosters children's physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing exceptional care and education.
Key Duties:
- Supporting the Lead Teacher and Associate Teacher in planning and delivering educational programs
- Participating in regular coaching cycles to enhance teaching practices
- Engaging with children to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Supervising a safe and healthy environment for children
- Communicating effectively with families and other stakeholders
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, CDA Accreditation preferred; 1 year experience working with children from birth - 5 years; Level A or B certification in the PA ECE Career Pathway preferred.
