CHS Payroll, a payroll service provider, is seeking for a reliable Payroll Processor to work closely with payroll management to prioritize and adhere to the payroll process steps and controls.
The Payroll Processor is responsible for processing, validating, and producing accurate pay to employees following the instructions and adjustments provided by the HR/payroll specialist.
The ideal candidate should maintain accurate records and data, and ensure that payroll deductions and reporting comply with the local requirements of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Understand all aspects of payroll such as local payroll laws and regulations
- Prioritize daily work responsibilities, as appropriate, to ensure that payroll processing is meeting business and legal requirements
- Responsible for the decision making, planning, and control of payroll-related matters
- Process payroll requirements on a frequency basis (monthly, yearly, advance pay) depending on the processing of transactional payroll advice by HR/payroll specialist
- Ensure accuracy of other payments and deductions processed via payroll statutory calculation and guidelines
Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience handling payroll or with comparable Payroll Processor credential
- Strong technical, analytical, and financial acumen, with the ability to manage and analyze complex data, finances, and payroll
- Must have expertise in financial or payroll management systems and software and be able to adapt and learn new software quickly
- Demonstrate knowledge in compliance with regulatory payroll policies and guidance, payroll laws, and systems and must work professionally with the utmost integrity and practice
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, detail-oriented, and has a good command of English for both verbal and written communication
