OPEN POSITION : Family Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care SCHEDULE : - Full-Time or Part-Time - Minimum 3 Shifts per Week - Occasional Weekends - No On-Call - Flexible Options FULL-TIME COMPENSATION : - $100,000 to $120,000 Base Salary, negotiable based on experience - Malpractice Insurance - Health / Dental / Vision Insurance - Paid Time Off Package - CME Allowance - Full Details Negotiable LOCATION : Falls Church, Virginia COMPANY PROFILE : This urgent care clinic provides expanded medical care to the Falls Church community. Its owner-operator is a dedicated physician who, together with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, provides a full scope of urgent care services in a comforting, efficient environment. The organization operates multiple urgent care centers in Virginia, and the Falls Church location opened in 2020. POSITION DESCRIPTION : On average during a 12-hour shift, a provider will treat 40 patients with the help of a dedicated clinical assistant to room, prep, and assist as needed. Duties of the role include, but are not limited to : - obtaining history of present illness - performing physical examination - ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiologic testing - prescribing medications - stabilizing patients with high acuity medical issues Procedures include, but are not limited to : - venipuncture and peripheral line placement - dressing changes and wound management - application of splints - incision and drainage of simple abscesses - removal of foreign bodies - suturing of simple wounds or lacerations - removal of sutures or staples The clinic uses an EHR.
