Their offerings include, among others, family medicine, internal medicine, hematology/oncology, cardiology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, urology, and rheumatology. All providers are employees of the system, which comprises hospitals, clinics, specialty institutes, and residency programs.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will join an established and collaborative practice with other physicians. The practice has direct access to over 50 employed primary care providers and a strong community provider alignment to serve as a referral base.
The average number of patients per day varies, depending upon patient needs and physician preference.
The physician will provide a full range of services, including:
- new patient visits
- follow-up visits
- joint injections
- interpret labs
- interpret imaging
Physicians work with dedicated assistants who room and prep patient visits, as well as assist during visits as needed.
The group has extensive resources available, including an EHR and robust administrative support.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Louisiana medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Rheumatology
