What You Need to Succeed:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable Transportation
- Availability Monday-Friday, daytime/nighttime shifts (Some weekends Required)
- MOT Certification (Temporary Traffic Control Managers Card)
- Comfortable standing 8-12 hours/day, walking 1-2 miles/day, and lifting up to 50lbs

Your Responsibilities:
- Device Placement and Maintenance:
o Overseeing the installation, placement, and proper maintenance of all temporary traffic control devices like cones, barricades, signs, arrow boards, and flaggers.
- Work Zone Monitoring:
o Regularly inspecting work zones to ensure traffic control devices are functioning effectively, visible, and in compliance with the plan.
- Coordination:
o Communicating and coordinating with construction crews, project engineers, law enforcement, and local authorities to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
- Traffic Flow Management:
o Implementing strategies to minimize traffic disruption, including lane closures, detours, and traffic signal adjustments.
- Incident Response:
o Addressing unexpected situations like accidents or equipment failures within the work zone and making necessary adjustments to traffic control measures.
- Worker Safety:
o Ensuring that traffic control measures adequately protect workers within the work zone.
- Public Communication:
o Providing necessary information to the public regarding traffic disruptions, detours, and alternative routes through signage and other communication channels.
- Compliance with Regulations:
o Adhering to all local, state, and federal traffic control regulations and standards.
