Job Summary
Under supervision of the site administrator, the teacher is responsible for providing a sound educational program utilizing the most effective instructional and motivational techniques to carry out the District's mission and curriculum. Teachers are expected to aspire to excellence in all areas specified by the California Standards for the Teaching Profession. The teacher must maintain a safe, caring, student-centered environment that promotes high academic and ethical standards.

Provisional Intern Permit (PIP), Short Term Staff Permit (STSP), or Intern Credential welcome. If you have a bachelor's degree and have passed the CBEST Exam or have met the Basic Skills requirement you can get started with Chualar Union School District! The District must consider fully qualified candidates first, Intern eligible candidates should apply but may only be considered once all fully qualified candidates have been vetted.
The District will accept up to 5 years of previous, full-time service in accredited public or private schools. A full year of service must be at least 75% of the year in a full-time position.
Bilingual / Biliterate ability in English / Spanish highly desirable.
