Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology, primarily in the Ob/Gyn field. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and patient care to ensure high-quality imaging and patient comfort.
Duties
- Conduct ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
- Maintain a sterile environment by applying aseptic techniques during procedures.
- Ensure accurate patient history is obtained and documented prior to examinations.
- Analyze images for quality and completeness, providing preliminary findings to the physician.
- Educate patients about the ultrasound process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain equipment in proper working order and report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Uphold safety standards in medical imaging practices, ensuring compliance with diagnostic radiology regulations.
