As the Title Clerk and Billing Admin you will be responsible for processing car deals. You will verify costs for the accounting department, including the costs of reconditioning and equipment add-ons and handle the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles.

- Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
- Process new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Prepare tax and title documents.
- Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
- Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
- Prepares payoff checks for vehicle trade-ins.
- Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of the month.
- Stays abreast of title regulations and attends any available training on title regulations.
- Works with F&I managers and sales personnel on keeping them up to date on all title regulations and procedures.
- Document filing and scanning of processed car deals.
- Provide clerical and administrative assistance to departments as needed.
- Automotive dealership experience preferred.
- Experience working with CDK a plus.
- Experience processing tax and title documents a must.
